MANILA, Philippines — Pinaghatian na ng House prosecution team ang Articles of Impeachment na gagamitin sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Ayon kay Batangas 2nd District Rep. Gerville Luistro, bawat prosecutor ay bibigyan ng 2 hanggang 3 assignments.
Hahawakan ni Luistro ang 2nd article sa umano’y iregularidad sa confidential funds ng Office of the Vice President, ang 4th article na tumatalakay sa graft and corruption at 5th article na extrajudicial killings.
Ang mga government prosecutors naman na hindi papalaring magwagi sa midterm polls sa Mayo ay kanilang papalitan.
Una nang inihayag ni Senate President Chiz Escudero na mayorya sa mga senador ay inaprubahan ang ideya na magsimula ang impeachment trial sa Hulyo 30.
