MANILA, Philippines — Kinumpirma nitong Biyernes ni Justice Secretary Remulla na ibinasura na ang reklamong inihain laban sa kaniya ni Sen. Imee Marcos sa Office of the Ombudsman.
Si Remulla ay isa lamang sa respondents sa reklamong may kaugnayan sa iligal umanong pag-aresto kay dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong Marso at pagbigay rito sa kustodiya ng International Criminal Court (ICC) sa The Hague, Netherlands.
Si Remulla ay isa sa aplikante sa Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) matapos mabakante ang puwesto sa pagreretiro ni dating Ombudsman Samuel Martires noong Hulyo 2025.
Naghain na rin si Sen. Marcos ng motion for reconsideration sa Ombudsman.
“Inihain ko ang aking mosyon sa mismong araw na inilabas ang desisyon. Samakatuwid, may nakabinbin pa ring kaso si Sec. Boying Remulla sa Office of the Ombudsman,” ani Marcos.
Kabilang sa mga reklamo ang “grave misconduct and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service; arbitrary detention, usurpation of judicial functions, grave threats, graft, usurpation of authority or official functions, false testimony in other cases, and perjury” na inihain sa Ombudsman ng senadora.
