MANILA, Philippines — Mananatili sa puwesto si Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro sa Presidential Communications Office, ayon kay PCO acting Secretary Dave Gomez.
Inilabas ng PCO ang Special order No. 25-174 kung saan nakasaad ang confirmation ng designation ni Castro bilang Palace Press officer.
Sa ilalim nito, inaatasan si Castro na manguna sa coordination at delivery ng official press briefings at media engagements sa ngalan ng Office of the President at PCO.
Inaatasan din itong magbigay ng napapanahong pahayag at paglilinaw tungkol sa presidential engagements, polisiya at posisyon, gayundin ang pakikipag-ugnayan sa Media Accreditation and Relations Office o MARO, Presidential News Desk, at iba pang mahahalagang unit na susuporta sa press relations at media operations.
Direkta namang magre-report si Castro sa kalihim ng PCO para sa policy guidance, strategic direction at official issuances.
Pinuri naman ni Gomez si Castro sa kanyang trabaho.
Matatandaan Hulyo 16 nang magsumite si Castro ng courtesy resignation matapos na ipag-utos ni Gomez.
