MANILA, Philippines — Binawi ng Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) ang lisensiya ng lahat ng construction companies na pag-aari ni Sarah Discaya.
Sa Board Resolution No. 075, sinabi ng PCAB na ang testimonya ni Discaya sa Senado ay nagpataas ng agam-agam ng pagkakaroon ng sabwatan, paggamit ng mga scheme o manipulasyon sa public bidding ng government projects, na nakasisira sa transparency, pagiging patas at kompetisyon na lumalabag sa licensing at procurement laws.
“After thorough evaluation of the statements made by Ms. Discaya, the PCAB Board concludes that the continued accreditation of these corporations is inimical to public interest, industry integrity and government procurement transparency,” ayon sa PCAB.
Ang 9 na kumpanyang binawian ng lisensiya ay ang St. Gerrard Construction Gen. Contractor & Dev’t Corporation, Alpha & Omega Gen. Contractor & Dev’t Corporation, St. Timothy Construction Corporation, Amethyst Horizon Builders And Gen. Contractor & Dev’t Corp., St. Matthew General Contractor & Development Corporation, Great Pacific Builders And General Contractor, Inc., YPR General Contractor And Construction Supply, Inc., Waymaker OPC, at Elite General Contractor And Development Corp.
Matatandaang sa pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon, inamin ni Discaya na siya ang may-ari ng lahat ng nabanggit na kumpanya na sumali sa government project bidding.
