MANILA, Philippines — Nagbulsa si South Korean Joo Dae Yeung ng higit sa premyong P1 milyon na nakuha niya bilang kampeon ng 2025 MPTC Tour of Luzon.
Kabuung P1,022,00 milyon ang naharbat ng 29-anyos na si Joo sa nasabing eight-stage race na pinalobo ni sports patron Manny V. Pangilinan sa P7 milyon.
Ang P1 milyon ni Joo ng Gapyeong Cycling Team ay para sa kanyang pagkopo sa individual classification crown bukod sa mga nakolekta niya sa pagsusuot ng Yellow, Most Combative at Sprint jerseys sa Tour of Luzon na inihandog ng Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. at inorganisa ng DuckWorld PH.
Malaking premyo rin ang nakuha ng Standard Insurance Philippines sa nakubrang P1.63 milyon.
Kasama sa nakamit na premyo ng SIP ang P500,000 ni Jan Paul Morales bilang second placer sa individual category.
“Saying that they smiled their way to the bank isn’t the right phrase for the cyclists in this Great Revival,” ani DuckWorld PH chairman at ToL top organizer Patrick “Pató” Gregorio. “The cyclists and the teams didn’t have to wait long to receive their cash prizes.”
Mga nakangiti ang 119 riders mula sa 17 teams sa pamamahagi ng MPTC at DuckWorld PH ng kabuuang premyong P7,031,500 sa Closing Ceremony sa Camp John Hay Convention Center.

Umabot din sa 100.30 million views at engagements ang ToL sa social media.
Hindi rin makakalimutan ang pagdaragdag ni MVP sa P1 milyon sa individual winner’s prize mula sa orihinal na P500,000.
