Ahh nasa Bilyonarno News Channel (BNC) na pala si Matteo Guidicelli.
Kahapon ay pumirma na siya ng kontrata para sa news program na Agenda.
Present sa contract signing sina BNC executives — SVP Chair Cheryl Favila at SVP for Sales and Marketing Ms. Maria Fatima “Timi” Baylon.
Makakasama na niya sa primetime newscast ng BNC sina Korina Sanchez, Pinky Webbs, at Willard Cheng.
Bukod sa contract signing, nag-run through na rin sila kahapon.
Wala na palang contract si Matteo sa Unang Hirit last year pa pala.
“Here with Bilyonaryo we’ll be doing Agenda in hopefully different shows in the future,” umpisa ni Matteo.
So totally igi-give up mo na ang acting? Tanong namin. “Kung may magandang materyal pwede nating pasukin.”
Anong materyal ang pwedeng magpabalik sa ‘yo? “Action.”
Anong tipo ng action? Bakbakan?
“Bakbakan, sikuhan sa mukha, talunan sa eroplano…” sabay ngiti ng mister ni Sarah Geronimo.
Pero wala kang plano na mag-produce ng pelikula?
“It’s a tricky question, eh, because, you know, in the movie business you need to find good material, a good team, etc. Hopefully, one day in the future. That’s open naman.”
Kamusta si Sarah?
“She’s well. Good.”
May plans sa baby?
“Plans, oo.”
Lifestyle, entertainment and sports ang magiging line of coverage ni Matteo sa Agenda.
Excited na siya sa pagsabak sa new platform kahit na nga medyo nahihirapan daw siyang mag-Tagalog, dahil bisaya siya.
“I think because of the boom of social media four to five years ago, years ago, I started realizing when I joined the Army six years ago, I started to realize that I wanted to tell the Filipino story. There’s a lot of stories that are untold, kumbaga. And I think this is a good platform to really reach millions, to tell the story of the Filipino, and to add value in the Philippines. Not just the negative, but a lot of the positive.”
Kung excited si Matteo, excited na rin ang mga taga-Bilyonaryo sa pagpasok sa kanila ng isa ring negosyante.
“We’re very, very excited about Matteo joining us. We’re truly grateful that he has acknowledged our impact in the stories that we make on a daily basis. So hopefully with the Agenda, we can start with that. Maybe make Matteo experience how it is to be in the news. As a real journalist, eventually. And then from there, we can—we’d really want to do more projects with him,” say ni BNC SVP Chair Favila
Pero anong pakiramdam ni Matteo na kasama na niya ang mga seasoned journalist like Korina?
“Kinakabahan din. Kasi syempre, hindi pa tayo nagstart, but I trust na the material and what I will be doing here is suited for me. So, I’m looking forward, and I’m excited for it also.”
Kamakailan ay naging abala si Matteo sa pagtulong sa mga nilindol sa Cebu.
“Yeah, up to now, we still have aftershocks, and we’re praying for Davao and other places in the Philippines that we still have; we’re getting hit. Cebu naman, there are a lot of relief goods and relief operations happening in Cebu. And the government, the LGU, is very proactive in putting up and rebuilding Bogo and the other towns. But I think what has affected the people talaga is the PTSD, the post-traumatic stress that they’re going through. So I have a tita there; she calls me once in a while. Matt, ito na naman. So I think that’s the stress they’re going through. Yeah.”
Samantala, bukod sa BNC, pipirma rin ng kontrata si Matteo sa TV5.
Para naman ito sa isang documentary show.
This Wednesday na magaganap ang contract signing niya.
Freelancer na sa kasalukuyan si Matteo kaya pwede na siya kahit saan.
Tulad sa Bilyonaryo, program contract ang kanyang pipirmahan sa TV5.
