Sagot niya sigurado ito sa mga reaction sa nangyari sa kanila ni Jake Cuenca.
Sa aming interview kay Jake, kinumpirma nga ng actor na wala silang breakup ni Chie.
Hindi niya sinabi ang dahilan pero nauna nang naikuwento ng isang source na may tumawag lang diumano kay Jake at tinatanong kung sila pa ba ni Chie dahil diumano’y kasama ang sexy star/vlogger sa event ng pamilya ng sinasabing diumano’y karelasyon niya sa kasalukuyan na si Matthew Lhuillier.
Sinabi naman ni Jake sa interview para sa ipapalabas na pelikulang Delivery Rider na “Everything you see here, lahat nang nakikita ninyo rito, this is a 25-year-long career na pinaghirapan ko. Even when I was down, I had to pick myself back up and do it again. Because of my love for this career. I will never compare myself to another person or another man because I don’t judge men because of their riches. I judge men because of their character. Because ‘yun lang meron ako. You know, this career I worked so diligently for—no one gave me anything here. I had to go long way, mag-audition, pumasok ng pintuan, and then 25 years later, si Jake Cuenca na ‘yung nakikita ninyo. So that, I’m very proud of. And I’ll always be proud of that,” pahayag ng actor without mentioning any name.
Maraming na-sad for Jake at maraming nakuhang simpatya.
Wala rin namang binanggit si Chie sa kanyang post na: “People have thrown dirt on my name, others given me flowers. It’s all a garden to me.
“Lagi naman ganun, no? When you finally stand up for yourself, some people will still find something to criticize or belittle you. If I stay silent, I’m guilty. Tagal niyo na ganyan—kahit anong issue, kahit sinong artista—wala pa rin kayong pagbabago hanggang ngayon. And then if I speak up, kasalanan ko na naman or i’m guilty.
“I’ve already addressed these things before; ayaw ko na maging sirang plaka tulad niyo. Like I said—people will believe what they want to believe. Since patolera daw ako (kayo na rin nagsabi niyan), I choose my battles wisely. Okay, this time… I’ll make patol.
“I will not allow anyone to belittle me especially the people close to my heart. I’ve seen how some hide behind dummy accounts, private profiles, or worse—create new ones just to hurt others. That’s not right. Not right at all. Tigilan niyo na, please.
“I’m choosing to use my platform—this is me using my platform. It might not do much, but it’s about time people understand their boundaries. I will speak when I feel it’s necessary—dahil tao pa rin ako. Tao pa rin kami.
“Ang ingay-ingay na ng mundo natin. Mas mabuti unahin na lang natin ang mas mahalagang bagay, tulad ng flood control at ang malakas na lindol sa Cebu at Davao. Let’s also pray for those affected by the earthquake and the floods. Hindi yung buhay ng ibang tao ang inaatupag niyo,” buong post ni Chie.
Sa nasabing post din nito sinabi sa isang comment na blinock siya ni Sofia Andres.
Cousins ang partner ni Sofia na si Daniel Miranda at ang sinasabing karelasyon diumano ngayon ni Chie.
Anyway, ayon pa kay Jake, ang pinakamahirap sa pinagdaanan niya ang kailangan niyang magtrabaho.
“So, siguro the most challenging part about this whole process is syempre napapanood na ako ng tao sa Batang Quaipo.
“They don’t know I made the movie. They don’t know na I was doing all these things all together. And, siguro the challenge this past month, probably, is like I didn’t have time to be Jake. At all. I had to be Miguelito Guerrero. I had to be Edong in What Lies Beneath. I had to be Rodan in this movie. And parang kahit mahirap, even if it’s difficult to go to work, kasi I’m very different from these characters.
“As you can see, ‘yung pinu-portray ko sa TV as these characters. Ibang-iba sa personalidad ko. But I have to, even if I’m not in the mood to do it. I said this past few months hasn’t been easy. Kasi I’ve been working six days a week. And there’s no time to be Jake. It’s almost like uwi ako, pahinga. Diretso na sa taping. Diretso na sa Miguelito. Diretso na sa Edong. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, is Batang Quiapo. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, it’s What Lies Beneath. And I don’t compete. This is my dream. Talaga. This is my life. And kahit I’m not in the mood to do it, kahit mahirap, even if I’m heartbroken or down about it, I still have to do it because I’m an actor.”
