MANILA, Philippines — Ipapakita ng Alas Pilipinas ang kanilang kahandaan para sa darating na FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship (FIVB MWCH) Philippines 2025 sa pagsagupa sa Indonesia club Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi sa paghataw ng Alas Pilipinas Invitationals ngayon sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.
“In the flesh and 94 days before the world championship,” ani Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Ramon “Tats” Suzara sa press conference kasabay ng paghahayag ng kanilang partnership ng Republic Biscuit Corporation (Rebisco) sa three-day, four-team Invitationals kahapon sa Novotel Hotel sa Araneta City Cubao.
Ang Invitationals ang nagpatibay sa active sponsorship ng Rebisco sa 32-nation FIVB MWCH na nakatakda sa Setyembre 12 hanggang 28 sa Smart Araneta Coliseum at SM Mall of Asia Arena.
“As proud sponsors of the Men’s Volleyball World Championship, we at Rebisco, together with the PNVF, fully support the continued development and popularity of volleyball among Filipinos,” ani Rebisco vice chairman Jonathan Ng.
Lalabanan ng Alas Pilipinas ang mga Indonesians sa alas-7:30 ng gabi sa main match matapos ang laro ng Hyundai Capital Skywalkers ng South Korea at Thailand National Team sa alas-4 ng hapon.
Nakasama nina Suzara at Ng sa presscon sina PNVF vice president Ricky Palou at secretary-general Don Caringal, Action Republic Corp. president Rollie Delfino at Field Sales Operations head Alandel Acero, Alas Pilipinas captain Bryan Bagunas at FIVB MWCH ambassador Alyssa Valdez.
Dumalo rin ang mga coaches kasama si Angiolino Frigoni ng Alas Pilipinas at ang mga team captains ng participating squads sa event na suportado ng Smart, PLDT Home, Meralco, Metro Pacific, PAGCOR, LRTA, Maynilad, DOOH, RMN Ibis Styles Manila at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
