“Mahirap siya, I think the most challenging part of being a director is making your actors believe in you. Since this is my debut as a director, binuhat nila ako lahat. Nagbuhatan kami lahat dito sa pelikula. I read the script five times. ‘Di ako makatulog sa gabi. Everyone looks to you in terms of command. I told myself parang, ‘Dapat hindi mo masyadong ginagawang mental lahat, just go with it,’” bungad ni Alden sa 24 Oras.

“Nag-immerse kami. I went to the Q.C. Hall of Justice to sit down, actually see litigations happening every day for one week. And then we got lawyers na writer, lawyers by profession pero nagsusulat,” pagbabahagi ng binata.

“Especially right now with what’s happening. I think films has to be socially-relevant. Of course, that’s one. More over that, I wanted to create films that will be appreciated by people who watched it, like across all markets and across all ages. The production world is like a vast of concepts and opportunities. They are very much willing to consume contents na hindi na doon sa stereotype,” giit ng Asia’s Multimedia Star.

“The battle for justice is every day. Injustice is very dominant in our society, hindi lang sa Pilipinas. Unfair treatment, people in power are abusing their position. I’m just so frustrated with what’s happening. Niloloko tayo ng people in power. I’m brave enough to say that because it’s very evident. Hindi ako magtatanga-tangahan sa nakikita ko. That’s my favorite quote lately for this movie. Justice is not blind, it’s being blinded. Binubulag ang hustisya para sa mga tao. With this film, I hope that it would be a reminder that with courage and as long as we’re fighting for the good of all our fellowmen, we can never go wrong when we fight for justice and the truth,” makahulugang paliwanag ng Kapuso actor. — Reports from JCC
