“Awkward ba? I did see a lot of clips and I wouldn’t have put myself in a situation na hindi ako handa siguro. Sometimes people judge, ‘Bakit hindi mo hinaharap?’ Minsan hindi ka pa handa. Why would you put yourself in a situation na baka may magawa kang hindi exactly maganda. I think it was okay,” nakangiting pahayag sa amin ni Karylle sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

“Kasi parang some people were like, ‘Bakit? Are you avoiding?’ Sabi ko, hindi, minsan nagkakataon lang na minsan you’re also working, or like doing theater shows, etc. But yeah! It was a beautiful moment I think, because I did see some comments saying that they see na all is well. I think with every public breakup, it’s a bit hard. I mean when it happened, like my childhood was like that. As you know, I was six years old when that happened to me and I was very public. You just know how to protect your sanity,” makahulugang paliwanag ng It’s Showtime host.

“I don’t know if ‘friend’ is the word. I would imagine, being people in the same industry, we could support each other. Like I see that he supports our movie. I did my best to kind of support their own movies. I think supporting each other. Maybe the friendship, I don’t think is in the cards anymore,” pagtatapat niya.

“He’s such a big part of my life. And siguro ang dami naming pinagdaanan. I did write him a song, it’s called MT, his initials. But I’m so grateful to have a love so beautiful with a parent, actually both my parents. We had a crazy love story, sila and the family. the power of love. I have a line when I say to myself, parang I miss him most on Sundays. Kasi we would hang out and that’s my free days. Pero gano’n ang buhay eh, if you love well, it hurts in the end. I feel him, ang daming bumibisitang moth sa akin or butterfly. And I always feel like, ‘Ikaw ba ‘to?’ I think it’s also a reminder na, they never leave us. It’s beautiful,” emosyonal na pagbabahagi ni Karylle. (Reports from JCC)
